[FASHION] Birthday Outfit - Asymmetrical Skirt + Camo Valentino Rockstud

Photo from my Instagram: hollyannaeree

Sheer Knit Sweater: H&M
Leopard Sweater Bandeau: Forever 21 (recent)
Bag: Chanel Diamond CC (Vintage Version Here & Here)

Just wanted to share another Outfit of the Day with you all. As some of you may know my birthday was October 4th (yesterday) - this is what I wore.

I also wanted to share a clearer picture of my new shoes! I purchased these in Vegas a few weeks ago as an early birthday gift to myself (you may remember the instagram post of the bag - these are what hid inside :) - I love them! They are my second pair of Rockstud T-Straps - Valentino keeps me coming back for more! I eventually want to get the nude/blush/whatever they are calling it pair but I wish these weren't so darn expensive BUT they are comfortable and different so...here I am. lol.

(These run True To Size for me - I take a 37)

The Camo is limited edition - I have linked the different styles they have above for you.
You all know I enjoy camo anyway but what I love about these the most is that the camo is done in a fun yet understated way - semi blinded out by the bling so they can be dressed up or down. (I'll try and post a video or the sparkle on Instagram or something)

Enjoy ; )

Thanks so much for reading! I really appreciate all the support.

I am freaking PUMPED for Fall Fashion so get ready for hopefully some more posts!

Love you guys!

[FASHION] Little Frenchie. Casual OOTD - Late Dinner and a Movie

French Bulldog Tank - H&M (recent) (Somewhat Similar Here)
Shoes - TOMS Classic Black (HERE) (not the best looking shoes but SO comfy!)
MCM Mini Stark Backpack in Cognac (also seen HERE)
Earrings - Chanel Studs (would LOVE these)

In the spirit of wanting to do more fashion posts on my blog I bring you a casual look from last night. Steve and I quickly got ready to grab some sushi for dinner and ended up catching a movie while we were out.

Nothing fancy just some cut off shorts and comfy flats.
I am loving this ADORABLE French Bulldog Tank that I bought from H&M a couple days ago - I can't get over it!

Left my hair natural per usual, no eyeshadow - just relaxed and casual.

(the little pink bag is from the Sanrio store we stopped at. ^_^ grabbed a few goodies)

Have a wonderful weekend and I'll talk to you all very soon.

Love,

[FASHION] Hot Summer Days = Constantly Casual. One Teaspoon LOVE + a new CHANEL

(lol I did not wear this to the gym btw haha I know it looks like that but I went with Steve to a local tricking place to meet up with people before heading to dinner. The upstairs has some random work out stuff so that's why you can see it in the background - I always get questions from you guys when I take photos here so I thought I'd explain.)

Tank: H&M
Bag: Chanel Diamond CC Camera Bag

I know I haven't had many fashion posts lately and I apologize!
#1. I got in trouble for taking outfit photos outside lol.
#2. I've been lazy and it's too dang hot to dress up.

So...with that being said here you have one of my current go to looks. Pretty much a no brainer - cut off shorts and a tank. O_o Sometimes I'll get wild and throw on a utility vest or jacket on top ; P

I HAVE to talk about these shorts though - One Teaspoon - BEST brand for shorts I've ever owned. I've been wearing them alllllllll summer and I can't get enough. I think I have purchased about 8 pairs so far. I love them! They feel like they are custom made and distressed. Pricy but a lot of times you can get a good deal on them through Karmaloop/MissKL and overall they're classics that are only going to get better with wear.

Use REP CODE - HOLLYANNAEREE on Karmaloop.com for 20% OFF your first purchase and 10% OFF every purchase after that!

PLUS Sign Up for Ebates (HERE) to Earn CASH BACK almost any time you Online Shop!

The ones I am wearing here are called the Domino Trashwhores (AWFUL name -__-) which were originally $90 - I paid $30 PLUS got 4% Cash Back through Ebates = DEAL!

Now this style is obviously VERY short (as most of their shorts seem to be) but when it gets to be a certain degree outside you end up not caring lol. Plus if you get a longer utility vest/jacket or cardigan you are all set. I see a lot of people tie a shirt around with some of the higher waist shorts too. (I can't wear high waisted shorts because I have a short torso and I feel like it's not really comfortable with a belly button piercing either.) All of the styles also are about an inch or two longer in the back so they definitely cover your butt (much better than the UNIF shorts I've tried) otherwise I would NOT be wearing these shorts lol.

If you were looking to invest in pair I would recommend the Bandits or the Hunger Bandits - they are a bit longer and have a fold over hem vs. all that fraying just hanging there. (Which I know many of you will prefer.)

In order of preference the styles I own are as follows -

- Trashwhores (These are just TOO short in my opinion - probably hence the name lol - but since I have them and got a good deal I do still wear them.)

These have just been a summer staple for me and I don't hear very many people talk about them so I thought I'd share. Personally I have a VERY difficult time finding shorts, it seems like they all look terrible on me or feel uncomfortable. I like things that are not too tight on the waist and my legs are obviously not stick thin, I don't want something that's going to be skin tight. I feel like every brand makes shorts that are made for people with tiny thighs :'(
I always buy my shorts one size bigger than my jeans for comfort so with most of these I purchased a size 27, (I do have one in a 26 though that I purchased most recently and I take a size 26 in all jeans currently) that gives me a lot of space in the waist but not enough for them to be pulled down over my hips which is exactly how I like my shorts to fit : ) I DO wish they would incorporate some slightly longer styles for a bit more modesty but what can ya do.

Now I don't always wear shorts with heels - normally I'll do flip flops or something like that but if I am going out I'll usually try to dress it up a tad and wear a heel paired with something longer over to cover the sides and at least part of the back of the shorts. (I had a green utility vest with me this day but it was so hot during the day especially inside this building I couldn't wear it until later when it cooled down.) Wearing heels with shorts can make your legs look a lot nicer especially if shorts are not your most flattering look - these Soirée heels from Jeffrey Campbell are super comfortable and easy to walk in. (Also from Karmaloop/MissKL)

Lastly, I know you are all drooling over this bag and I've been getting a lot of questions on it. This is the Diamond CC Camera Bag from Chanel's Fall 2013 line. They have two sizes and this is the smaller of the two (they also have a flap style version but I don't love it). I feel like this was reasonably priced from the brand considering it is a full leather bag done is super soft lambskin and features the classic burgundy leather interior. The chain strap also has a little leather panel on top for comfort. (You'll see this in a lot of Chanel's fall line up. I honestly wasn't a fan of that look at first but it's growing on me.) If you would like a separate review post on this bag complete with DSLR photos and pricing please let me know in the comments below :)

Other than that hope you are all having an awesome day and I will talk to you very soon!

Love,
Holly

[FASHION QUICK PIC] Casual Outfit of the Day - Utility Vest, Cut Offs + MCM Mini Stark Backpack

(photo from hollyannaeree's instagram)

Tank: H&M (this season)

Just a quick, on the go Outfit of the Day post :)

Today we just ran out to do a few errands. I had an eye appointment and we did some grocery shopping at Costco.

I have been LIVING in One Teaspoon brand shorts this summer - LOVE them so much!
I just ordered a bunch more from Karmaloop/MissKL, can't wait to get them! ^_^
Definitely a little pricier for me (at $60 - $100 a pair) but I would say well worth the money. They are comfortable and come in really cool cuts. Best cut offs I've ever owned. (I'll show them a bit better in a favorites video soon!)

The utility vest is something new for me. Picked this one up from Forever 21 (online) and have been trying it out to see how it works for me, adding some interest to a simple outfit. It's a size small but actually fits rather large I think. Still, not bad for $35 bucks.

...

Lastly, this is the blog debut of my new bag! This was my "big souvenir" purchase while I was in Korea and I am IN LOVE!

The MCM Mini Stark Backpack in Cognac.

As MCM is a South Korean brand (originally a German brand) it seemed like the perfect thing to splurge on while I was there, PLUS the prices are a lot less there than here in the states. No surprise I was really itching to pick up a piece especially since MCM seems to be kind of difficult to track down here in CA. Even online there is a very limited selection and the Mini Backpack is damn near impossible to find!

I originally was going to go with the lighter beige color that my friend Alex from HRH Collection has (it looks awesome on her!) but when I saw it in store it didn't suit me as well. The cognac was the first color I tried on and it looked really amazing with the olive dress I was wearing that day. It's different for me, not a color I would normally gravitate towards but I have to say I am really enjoying it and am pleased to see that it matches so many items in my closet (especially with the incorporation of the black in the logo and to two tone studs on the front of the bag. I couldn't ask for a better, more versatile combination!)

Bottom line: I am obsessed. I have been wearing it everyday! Super durable and overall a cute, casual bag that still has a touch of luxury. I am already planning on my next MCM purchase! Looking at a couple of the Medium Stark Backpacks - I'd love to use them as a carry on or just overall to bring along on days that I need to carry a little extra.
They come in a ton of fun colors every season - I can tell this is going to be a "gotta collect them all" situation. Bank account, I am sorry. lol : P

I plan on doing a full review on the backpack complete with HD pictures etc. for you all so keep an eye out for that!

That is all for now. Hope you all have been wonderful!

I miss you,
Holly

[Fashion] Spring Staples: Ivory [Chanel + Christian Louboutin]

Bag: Chanel French Rivera in Ivory
Shorts: (similar here and here)
(here and here)(more affordable here)

If you are familiar with my style you know it's either neutrals or brights for me and this spring/summer shall be no exception! Pictured above is what I wore today.

-----

This Chanel French Rivera has become my most worn bag this season thus far and I'm glad because I am definitely getting my moneys worth! (always a concern when purchasing a white(ish) bag)

It's a soft caviar (so fabric lined not leather lined making it less structured), flap style bag and I love it. It is limited edition but I just saw one at my local Chanel today so not impossible to get. Also being that it is a limited edition, non icon bag it is significantly less expensive than my flap bags so if you are looking for something with a similar look I think this is a good choice.

If you are interested in a full review with price, pros, cons and DSLR photos let me know!

------

The Christian Louboutin Cortico Espadrille 85mm Wedge is new for this Spring/Summer (SS13) and becoming a fast favorite of mine. Unfortunately there are some cons to this shoe particularly with the sizing but I am making it work.

Louboutin Espadrilles are also priced lower than other styles the brand carries and the Cortico is currently the least expensive shoe Christian Louboutin offers. (so...yay! haha)

(as with the French Rivera, if you are interested in a separate review let me know : )

^ Dress in this photo is from DailyLook and the recent Fashion Haul Video below!

Also I have a new Makeup Haul Video and some info on a 20% OFF Friends and Family Event going on now! (plus if you're an Ebates user you'll get an additional 6% CASH BACK)

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
Thanks so much for reading and just stopping by : )

Talk to you very soon.

Lots of Love,
Holly

[Fashion] Black, White, Black, White. [Faux Leather Peplum Top]

photo: hollyannaeree

Top:
(Similar Here - Here - Here and more affordable HERE and HERE)

Skirt:
(Similar HERE and more affordable Here)

Shoes:
(Similar Here - Here - Here - Here and Here)

This is THE best fitting peplum top for my body shape! I love it!

Just purchased this from Zara last week and am OBSESSED.
(I added some stock photos to this post because due to the solid colors it's hard to show detail)

I have a short torso (due to scoliosis) and I'm not super skinny so peplum tops can be tricky for me. If these hit too low can make your hips look a lot wider than they are and if they hit too high it can bulk up your midsection too much.

My boyfriend also loves this top/outfit on me, he commented on it as soon as he saw it (as well as several times throughout the day) and that's always a good feeling : )

I'm also loving the black and white trend so choosing what I would on the bottom was a no brainer. These are some of my FAVORITE skirts ever (my boyfriend's favorite style/brand of skirt on me as well) - they can be dressed up or down and are extremely comfortable!

They're a little pricey but totally worth it - they wash and wear well not to mention go with pretty much anything! Every season they come out in TONS of colors, it's hard to resist! Plus they do go on sale - I have gotten a few for about $50-$60

Classic, long lasting and good quality - for sure a staple in my wardrobe.

(I use to just buy cheaper bandage skirts from Forever 21 and similar stores but I could only wear them once or twice before they shrunk, the waist band twisted or they got pill-y - so I bit the bullet and started to invest. It's been so worth it since I wear these for everything from a night out to business meetings (they do have different lengths - I have a few longer ones as well.))

Lastly these shoes again!

They are a total staple for me in the spring and summer.
Easy to walk in, interesting to look at and they go with so much!

For an outfit like this I really love the look of bold strappy sandals. I think it just balances everything out.

And the cherry on top - white polish on the toes. I AM LOVING this trend!
It instantly gives your toes/legs a tan and just looks so clean.

Here I am wearing Essie - 'Blanc' on my toes.

For my nails I have on OPI - 'My Boyfriend Scales Walls' - I prefer this on my hands because it's more of a grey/blue white vs. a stark white which I don't think looks very good on fingers. True white kind of gives a fake/white out look and if you wear inexpensive black clothing (F21/H&M) it stains them : ( That doesn't happen with this polish and from a distance it pretty much appears white so you get the look without any of the issues.)

-----------

Hope you guys enjoyed this post/outfit! It is one of my favorites so far! So sexy and feminine : ) (If I wear it again I'll try and snap some pics with my DSLR vs. my iPhone - I been in Vegas the past few days so this is all I was able to get.)

Thanks again for reading, following, commenting and supporting.
I truly appreciate it! My blog has become a new passion for me and I'm having a LOT of fun with it!

Keep checking back! I should have a new post soon : )

Love,
Holly

[Fashion] Big Cats + Black Fringe

Bag:
( Mini MAC also Available - Here)

Shoes:
Hendrick Brun Sharae (Here)- Sold Out
(These and These would look good as well)

Black Fringe Skirt:
Forever 21 (Here)

Tiger Tank:
Brandy Melville (Here)
(Similar style HERE)

(Here)
(I LOVEEE this bracelet!)

Just a quick snapshot of my Outfit the other day/night.

We basically just went to get Ramen with my brother and caught a movie later on.
(OZ the Great and Powerful)

It is been so nice and warm this week I have been busting out all my new warm weather tops and bottoms! Today I went for all black (I don't know - I've been into it lately).

The Details:

The top is a cut off tank from Brandy Melville (I'm wearing a simple black bandeau underneath) that I tied in the back to give me a little more shape. It's a pretty loose fitting top so I couldn't really just leave it as is for this outfit - Any shape would be lost with the relaxed fit and black on black.
I have been really into these cut tanks lately. I just wear a bandeau underneath and we are good to go. Comfortable as well as a little tough/vintage looking.
(The "I don't care I'll wear ripped, aged items (that I really bought brand new, mass produced and spent over $20 on even though I could make this at home for like $3 -___-") man I wish I was more crafty). The top is one size fits all for reference.

You all know I am definitely a cat lover so any way I can work them into my wardrobe I'm going to go for it! (Although it does seem like the bigger cat varieties are a little more socially acceptable lol. No weird looks with a tiger or cheetah but a sleeping house cat tee and you suddenly become "THAT girl" lol.)

Another new piece that I added to my wardrobe a couple weeks ago is this Fringe Skirt from Forever 21 - I love it! So fun and a great way to add texture and interest to your outfit without being overly flashy. I have been wearing this so often lately - typically with vintage looking tees/tanks - sometimes paired with a cropped denim vest. It's definitely a different style for me but I have been having a lot of fun playing around with these types of looks. (Wearing a size Medium for reference.)

The shoes you have seen last year if you are a follower of my YouTube videos. They were on super sale and I loved them so much I have two pairs! I like how bold they are - I love wearing black shoes if I am wearing a black skirt or shorts and usually if there is a thicker strap detail they look even better. These are also pretty low which is great for comfort. I can walk around in these all day without an issue. The look of a heel with the comfort of a small wedge.

For my bag I am wearing the Rebecca Minkoff 5 Zip Mini - Black with Gold Hardware - I have gotten sooo much use out of this bag! The 5 Zip Mini is my favorite from Rebecca Minkoff and it surprisingly holds everything I need! (I recently did a "What's In my Bag" Video featuring this purse so feel free to check it out if you are interested.)

Lastly one of my FAVORITE new purchases - this Lion Chain bracelet. O-M-G
I just think this is such a cool twist on a fashion favorite (chain bracelets) and it goes with pretty much everything I wear.
I LOVE IT.
It's a nice, heavy weight and looks kind of vintage to me. Surprisingly nice quality for the price. Great to pair or wear alone. (It is a little big on me but if you clip it to the actual chain links vs. the extender you should be fine. You can always take off a few links if you have some heavy duty pliers.)
OBSESSED.

---------

Thanks so much for reading! I hope you all enjoyed this post! I'm so happy to be doing fashion posts on here finally : ) Sorry for the iPhone photos today - I didn't have time to take my DSLR outside, etc.

(I'm also writing this in between working on a new video that will hopefully be up soon   : ) I know it's been a while!)

Talk to you hopefully tomorrow!

Love,
Holly
