#WishListWednesday #4 - YSL, Vintage Chanel, Christian Louboutin + More

Well it's been a while since I've done a #WishListWednesday and I know some of you have been asking so here we go! Now just because I haven't been posting doesn't mean I haven't been browsing ; ) Here are a few of my most recent obsessions.
(Not the ONLY items I've had my eye on but these are the highlights)

I've been eyeing this bag for ages! I know everyone has the small size but I tried one on and - not for me O_O - not only does the small hold an impractical amount but overall it just does not look good on me.

The medium should be just right although I have yet to try one on. I wish these came in as many fun colors as the small size but let's be honest, black and gold is probably more me. (Black, White, or Beige would match my wardrobe most.)

Vintage Chanel Mini Flap

$1,800 is what I have seen it listed for
with similar bags anywhere from $1,800 - $2,100

I have no info on what the original style name is - I need to do some more research as I am not familiar with purchasing Chanel second hand. I have a few sites that I know are reputable but as of now I have not purchased from them.

I was inspired to take a look at vintage pieces after the giveaway that I co-hosted here on my blog. Found this fun little number and have been looking at it everyday since. This one is different than any of the other versions I've seen as it does not have the leather woven chain. I haven't seen this exact combo anywhere else.
(I've seen similar bags but with the regular leather woven chain and a few bags that must be from the same collection that have the same x chain but different body.
Still searching.)

Also, this is from before they stopped making the gold plated CC clasps so that's exciting. :)

Wish me luck in my research!

Retails $795

Personally not a huge fan of wedges, especially ones this high however I can not resist the appeal of these! Very similar set up to the Fortune sandals that Kourtney Kardashian made popular. I have been wanting those for years so when I saw these - instant interest!
Again, I haven't tried these on yet but my other pair of Louboutin wedges are a 37 (7) which is my true size so I assume these will fit similarly.

Okay last couple of things - you know I am always a fan of House of Harlow jewelry so I am back at it again :)

(I have these in Black Leather and LOVE THEM! See Here)

(I want these in the tan and possibly the turquoise as well but I want to see how I like these first)

Happy Lusting ; )

Love,
Holly

#WishListWednesday #3 - More Louboutins + Valentino + Alexander Wang

Alrighttttt another #WishListWednesday!!!

Apparently I missed last week - didn't even realize it (probably because I was actually shopping vs. window shopping hahaha - I had a friend that came and stayed with me last week. We went to a People Magazine Event, ate and shopped haha. I also sent her home with a bunch of beauty goodies : ) All in all a good visit.)

Honestly this week there isn't too much to show - if you follow me on Facebook you know I've been terrible : (

I felt like I was doing so well for a while but tons of department stores are having their designer sales AND a lot of brands are releasing their pre-fall collections.

WHYYYYYY!

BTW if you DO happen to do see any online sales you'd like to take advantage of don't forget to use Ebates to earn cash back! 100% Safe, Easy and FREE to use.

Alright now on to the #LustList

Brand new for Fall/Pre-Fall 2013 for Christian Louboutin!

Spotlight Pigalle 120mm

$625

BEAUTIFUL! I saw these in store as well and they are breathtaking! They are covered in a smooth circular or hexagon? glitter so it's not constantly shedding all over the place nor does it feel like sand paper. I like. Totally obsessed with the color!

I had gotten an email from one of my friends showing me these a couple of weeks ago but had hesitated because....do I REALLY need another pair of shoes? O_o

Although, Pigalles ARE probably one of my favorite Louboutin styles not to mention one of the more affordable ones I had been so bad this month with the shopping I tried to resist. Now I am kicking myself because when I went to call they were sold out everywhere in the country (Louboutin Boutiques - they may have them at various Neiman Marcus stores but I was not able to check their inventory) in my size (I take a 36.5 in this shoes (6.5) :(

Not usually a fan of glitter shoes but for these I would make an exception! They are so pretty and different than anything else I've seen from CL since I've been collecting - yet still a classic cut and style.

If I can find them I will get them!

Wish me luck!

(Photo from Wendy's Lookbook)

$1,680 - $1,795

I saw this on Wendy's blog (Wendy's Lookbook - one of my FAVORITE BLOGS and overall someone I admire very much : ) and immediately started swooning!

I'm not normally a fan of translucent bags but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVEEEE this one! Right on trend right now too! Wendy was kind enough to send me the link to this little treasure but sadly it is a.) expensive as all heck! especially for a clear bag : ( and b.) SOLD OUT!

If (and only if) I had unlimited funds I would jump on this if I could find one but alas. Still drool worthy though and still had to post it!

Out of my price range for what it is though.

(I more or less love anything that Wendy wears! haha. My fellow Louboutin/Manolo lover/enabler)

On the (slightly) more affordable side....

$875 - Or $850 HERE (Nordstrom)

Gahh I have been wanting this bag for a whileee! But I can not justify the price!

I have heard many people say it's too heavy and hard to get in and out of but I did try it on at Barney's and it seemed fine to me. I still want it.

A few colors of these are on sale currently for about $600 but I'm not crazy about the colors offered. They have a pale lilac which I feel like will get too much color transfer and they also have the Acid Green color but I already have the Rocco in that so I don't think I should buy the same thing just because it's on sale...I mean it's not THAT great of a discount lol.

I've wanted to get one of the AW bags in this shade but couldn't decide which. I have a Rocco and Rockie already - love them both but this ones just different. I think I should probably hold off and either see if this ever goes on sale or buy a Black/Grey version of it since that will be a bit more versatile. (I would want a nude color but again because of where the bag sits I would be too afraid of color transfer from jeans or leggings)

Next two are shoes again -____- sorry. I have a problem haha.

Christian Louboutin - So Kate

I am DYING for any pointed pair of WHITE Louboutins! I had wanted to get white Pigalles but then I saw these on Rosie Huntington-Whitely and thought I may want to give them a try. (They look very similar) LOVE this dress on her btw!

As far as I know they have not been released yet (and will probably sell out super fast when they do launch) but I am going to be keeping an eye out. I think they will retail about the same as similar styles from the classic line so in the $625 range

I'll let you know more info when I hear.

: )

And lastly a pair of shoes I would NEVER buy!

Christian Louboutin Fifi Strass 100mm in Nude

(I can't even bare to write the price so just look at the picture *turns face away* lol)

SOOOO Beautiful but OMG UNREALISTIC for me!

Definitely would be sick to my stomach if I ever paid this much for a pair of shoes but it's nice to dream right? haha.

It's all about perspective I suppose. When you think about it my shoe collection is for sure worth more than this one pair (I have a lot of shoes!), I have some expensive handbags and I pay this in rent alone for two months but for my lifestyle I just wouldn't feel good about spending that on a SINGLE pair. Not that there is anything wrong with it if you would/have! Trust me I would LOVE to....but shoot - I'm not rich. O_O

The Fifi is the most comfortable style of Louboutin for me so that makes them that much lust worthy! With just under a 4" heel these are pretty easy to walk in and the toe area is a perfect fit for me.

*le sigh*

---------

Anyway thats it for this #WishListWednesday - hope you all enjoyed! Sorry it wasn't as exciting as weeks prior but there haven't been too many new things I've been looking at. (Someday I should do a break down of my Louis Vuitton or Chanel To Buy Lists! I swear I've had some of them on my Wish List for YEARSSSS!)

I should be stopping at some stores I don't normally shop at later this week so maybe I'll find some good stuff for next Wednesday's post! We shall see : )
(Some places don't let you take photos inside though so not sure what I will be able to get a hold of!)

Have a wonderful week! I may see you back here in a couple of days but it will depend on how much time I have >_<

Be well.

Love,
Holly

#WishListWednesday #2: Cut Outs - Jeffrey Campbell, MinkPink, Shoemint, Louis Vuttion, Christian Louboutin

Okay so kind of a horrible #WishListWednesday this week because I actually did end up buying some of these items >_< I'm terrible! But at the rate that things were selling out I feel like I "had to" -__-

Truthfully I've been being pretty good and cutting back/holding back on a lot of purchases so I can't say I feel THAT bad.....but expect more listings in my Poshmark Closet haha. (I am trying to get rid of things to afford new things : ) Even if I need to sell 100 things to get one new one. It's kind of like spring cleaning/recycling money. Can't wait to show you what I raised funds for recently. I had so sell SOO many things but I think it'll be worth it. I am super close to my goal!)

Anyway here we go!

Jeffrey Campbell Cantu Wide Heel Cut Out Bootie

Prices seem to vary but most are around the $200 range.
($190-$210)

I think I would need my normal size 7 in these which...of course...is sold out everywhere I have looked.

I did end up ordering them in 7.5 (HERE) and hopefully they will run small : D
You never know because I have taken a 7 and a 7.5 in JC Shoes before so it will really depend. *Wishful thinking here* Maybe because they are closed toe they will run a little small but I'm not sure since they are so open elsewhere. If they don't work out I'll just return them I suppose.

Anyway wish me luck! And if anyone sees these in 7 (Calf Black NOT Patent)
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know!

There is also a lower heel version available at most department stores but I don't think they look as good. Figures.

--------

Moving on....

There are probably 10 or more Louis Vuitton bags that I would want (some classics that are on the list but idk I keep putting them off. (which is stupid btw because the price just keeps going up!)) but I'm going to stick with the one I have most recently been obsessing over.

I first time I saw this bag and actually LIKED it was on Alex from HRH Collection. (I've seen it on some celebrities before but thought it looked horrible proportionally)

Naturally I want the same one as her ^_^ and even more naturally....the color is SOLD OUT. lol. I may be able to track it down in stores but I really shouldn't even be buying it so if it's meant to be it will be!

I always like the LV Vernis anyway - I had wanted to get an Alma MM in a dark blue color but I missed out on it (because it was so expensive I waited) but after seeing this color on Alex - I like. (I looked at it in the dusty pink color but passed since Vernis can get color transfer on it's lighter hues and being a long shoulder or cross body style I wouldn't want to risk it. Plus I already have a clutch in the dusty rose (or Rose Velours if you want to get technical) color that I picked up when I was in Vegas months ago (before the price increase! yay!) - I have to remember to show that to you guys - It's a beautiful piece!)

And now we circle back to shoes : )

Size 7

$99.98

Okay so after looking at these since the beginning of the month I went ahead and purchased them. I love the look of them on (from what I've seen) but was concerned about comfort with how high the back of the shoe went up (vs. being open) so we shall see. Luckily I got a great deal on them! I had a Jewelmint credit from a past purchase I returned PLUS a 15% OFF Code from a promo card I had gotten at an event. After tax I paid $65 and change and if I don't like them or they are not comfy I can just send them back.

They remind me very much of something a brand like Jimmy Choo would have (they have a caged sandal right now that has a more open back and those look cute but I'd have to try them on before I could put them on a #WishListWednesday because they could be hideous on idk. lol)

I haven't had very good luck with Shoemint shoes lately but looking at the reviews I have high hopes for this pair quality wise - especially given the slightly increased price.

-----------

Idk if I will ever have a list without Louboutins making it on here. *smh* so one new style and one classic style make the cut this week.

Let me start off by saying I hate paying this much for a shoe.

I think these could be really versatile though.
From Jeans to Skirts and Dresses I could see this being a staple this summer!

Not sure on the sizing as they are not on the Louboutin site as of yet. Normally I wear a 7 in most Louboutins but for styles that criss cross in the back and go around the ankle I do normally go up 1/2 a size for comfort. (If they have a regular single strap I usually go down a 1/2 size. Weird how that works out.)

Super limited quantities on these currently. Saks is carrying only a few of each size available for pre-order. I haven't seen them on any other site.

Luckily Saks is on Ebates - Currently 4% Cash Back and I have a 20% OFF code from them (Saks) as well that actually CAN be applied to designer items so we'll see.

I'm hoping the 7's will fit but I am thinking I may need a 7.5 - if I try them on I will let you know how I think they fit (TTS or otherwise) There are so many factors playing into this shoe it's hard to guess. (Open, Suede, Criss cross ankle strap, Italian Sizing, Heel Height, Platform, etc.)

------------

Now for a classic. These I actually did buy already but they are on pre-order so I won't have them in hand for a while.

I am much more comfortable with this price range though. Once you get into the $1,000 I feel like the balance between price and quality gets thrown off quite a bit. $600 range I still feel like is reasonable for a FULL leather Italian made designer shoe (even though yes I know that's still a lot for a shoe in general. Hey this IS WISH list Wednesday after all!)

So happy to find these in my size (even if they are pre-order) - they are ALWAYS Sold Out!

Pigalle is one of my favorite Louboutin styles - I would say probably their most famous/classic. I have a few 120mm but this will be my first 100mm. I am excited to try these out because I think the difference in the heel height will do wonders for the comfort of the shoe. As I do prefer the ones with no platform (vs. Pigalle Plato) walking in them certainly takes practice at just under 5". Generally 100mm or about 4" is the most comfortable heel height for me. It's not too high to be uncomfortable/unmanageable yet not so low where they look matronly. (Although yes the 120mm does have a sexier look)

I would say that my 120mm Black Patent Pigalles are my most worn Louboutin/Heel in general so I know that I will get EVEN MORE wear out of these as they are both a lower heel and a regular leather. I have too many patent shoes and it's really hard to wear them casually.

This is an all year, all season, timeless classic so I have no regrets going forward with this shoe.

---------------

Lastly I have a couple of things I like but probably won't buy that I wanted to share with you. These are some "If I had unlimited funds" items that are just kind of fun.

Saw this at Nordstrom while at the Thousand Oaks mall last week. I feel like this is something Kim K. (pre- Kanye) would wear and look awesome in (again....pre-Kanye haha). Unfortunately I saw this while on the way out and Nordstrom was all but kicking people out so I didn't have a chance to try this on. It could be totally hideous on me (and Lord knows these pictures aren't making the dress look too hot either >_<) but it is something I am curious about plus I do tend to like MINKPINK as a brand.

They were sold out in Small anyway.
(Medium looked kind of big but again idk until I try it on)

Not really going crazy over this dress - if I happen to see it at my local Nordstrom I may try it on but I don't want to order it online, wait for it and then return it if it's awful on me. (Not that many extra steps I know but idk...#Lazy #SlothLife)

Lastly I have one more pair of shoes....because CLEARLY I have a problem. lol. I think you guys can tell what my 'drug of choice' tends to be.

(Available at Nordstrom which is 14% CASH BACK through Ebates till 5/17)
^

I actually saw these in the Jimmy Choo catalog and loved them on the model! Not $895 love them but I think they are an awesome summer shoe especially with a tan....OOoOOo.

You all know I am STILL not over the pop of neon trend : P

Aside from the price what holds me back from this shoe is that I don't think they look THAT different and the style kind of limits how much I would be able to wear them. To me it's not a shoe that can really be worn casually day to day. Sure you can wear them with a pair of faux leather skinnies or a dress but that's still on the night out style side and to be honest....I don't go out OUT that much. lol. (I am a total homebody!) It's not like this is a shoe for the club or anything either - being suede they would be on the delicate side.

Listen to me trying to talk myself out of these shoes. haha.

This photo does NOT help though....

IDK...if for some reason my size is still available when these go on sale or I win the lotto (not that I play anyway) I would LOVE to have these - otherwise I just can't justify the price for how often my lifestyle would allow me to wear them.

...I may try them on though, just for good measure ;)

----------

Anyway that's it for this week's #WishListWednesday! I hope you enjoyed it and thank you for stopping by/checking it out.

I will talk to you all very soon!

Ohh and btw I posted another new video yesterday!

Lots of Love,

#WishListWednesday - #1 - Balenciaga, Freebird Boots, Christian Louboutin, Ryan Haber - #TheLuxeList

Welp...I decided to get on the ban wagon with these #WishListWednesday posts.

I think it'll be fun to share my sense of style with you in a different way. I can show you possible future purchases that I am saving towards and/or things that I would get if I had unlimited funds lol.

When I posted outfit of the day photos you get to see what I actually buy and wear - in these posts you'll be able to see some of the more luxe things I WANT to wear and buy - but can't necessarily justify the price tag.

I mean a girls gotta budget!

(I know that a lot of people post less extravagant things such as makeup etc. but truthfully for me if it's a more reasonable/less expensive purchase I would probably just go ahead and buy it lol.)

So with that....

My 1st #WishListWednesday

_____________

(Available in Peach, Brown & Black
(and of course the Peach are the most expensive -__-)

I look at these EVERY time I go into Nordstrom...and try them on. lol. I LOVE them so much but really can't justify the price!

The dusted peachy pink adds the perfect amount of girly without making these look too Barbie. I know there are tutorials on how to make these with various belts etc. but lets be honest - who has the time! Plus I would still need to buy a pair of leather boots.

I wish these were a little softer leather but maybe they'll break in. I tried them on in a 7 and they seem to fit fine. Totally lusting after them but almost $500 after tax I just can't do it! *cries*

Next up....Balenciaga

This actually may become an eventual purchase (and no this is not the bag I have been saving for) - I really want to get one of the mini city bags (the regular City is my favorite from Balenciaga), I've been looking at them sine I went to Vegas a few months ago.

Two things were holding me back on this purchase:

1. There wasn't a color I loved or that was different for me (until now : )
2. The price is so high for the size! There isn't that huge of a difference between this and a regular city despite this bag being so much smaller.

Eventually I will get one of the Mini City Bag - just not sure when or which color. I don't mind investing in something that I will have for a long time and enjoy over and over - I just need to know it's something I will get use out of.

Listed below are a few choices I would consider -

(but this in Gold Hardware - I would want Silver as shown)

They also have classic versions as well (the ones I've shown here are metallic or giant hardware which raises the price a little.) I believe the regular minis with the tassels are $1,235 - You can view them HERE.

And now we cycle back to shoes, shoes and more shoes. lol.

I have wanted these since before they were even released! Unfortunately they are sold out on the Ryan Haber site in 37 (7) so I would have to go else where to get them.
(I checked the site all the time so they must not have carried very many in that size - Ryan Haber is kind of an up and coming name in designer shoes so I wouldn't be surprised if the stock carried was significantly lower than some of the more well known brands out there. His designs are different and not something all your friends will have.)

I love any shoe that can incorporate a lucite without looking trashy. I feel like the gradient/ombre chunky heel of the Uptown is not only on trend right now but unexpected for this shoe.

Totally what makes it for me. (I also like anything with an ankle strap.)

I found that Gregory's Shoes DOES carry this style (and a few others from his line) and have them available in my size - they are even a little bit cheaper at $495 but hey - it is still $500 so something I would need to think about. Love them though. Yes they are an Italian made leather shoe with leather sole so they are going to be a bit pricey.

Ahh Louboutins - I feel like I will probably have one of these in every #WishListWednesday haha!

Christian Louboutin Pigalle Spikes (Black Leather with Silver Hardware)

$1,295

Been eyeing these bad boys for months!
I have always wanted the regular black leather pigalle with black spikes for a long time - unfortunately they are not currently available - they do have the Black Patent with Black Spike Pigalle Available HERE but I have so many patent shoes already they I really would want just the regular leather.

These have silver spikes which are way more noticeable than if I got the black on black and I almost feel like the sliver gives an almost biker appearance (although...obviously no one would wear these riding on the back of a bike lol.) which I'm not sure I would wear as often. If money was unlimited I would scoop these up no question and then just eventually have both pairs lol BUT that is not the case and these are some of the most expensive pairs of Louboutins I've looked at in a while.

I know a lot of people have misconceptions about all Louboutins being $1,000 and up but they actually have a huge selection of shoes that range anywhere from $475 - $725. Most of the classics (which is what I normally buy) are within that range at $625.
The regular Pigalles with no embellishments are $625 - Probably my most worn Louboutin style. I would collect them in every color if I could!

This pair is just so expensive that I am on the fence about them (leaning towards being sad and not buying them lol) - they are just too much. *CRIES*

I feel like even if I got some unexpected money from something I STILL wouldn't want to spend it on these because they are so much! To put it into perspective my rent is $1,700 a month - These would be $1,411.55 after tax.

Shoes like this have a more limited wear than a handbag, etc. especially with the silver spikes and my usually girly wardrobe. I do love them though - Only shoes I am interested in on the Louboutin site currently.

___________

That about wraps up my first #WishListWednesday - Hope you all enjoyed!!! : )

I look forward to my next one! Also let me know if you like seeing the actual pictures of the items taken with my iPhone - I notice a lot of people only use stock photos but I kind of like being able to show what the item looks like in real life if I can. IDK - that's how I "Wish List" personally, I just take pics of the things I want lol. Anyone else do that?

Thanks so much for reading! I can't wait to get back to my regular posts!!! They kind of stopped for a bit because I actually got in trouble for taking pics where I was taking them so now I have to find a new place, blah blah blahhh : \ so thank you for sticking it out with me!

Love you guys!

-Holly

BTW I posted a new video on Monday and I will be posting a new one tonight!
