[Lifestyle] A Peek into my Place. Bedroom Decor + Fresh Flowers.

Well I've finally started decorating my bedroom/apt which I know, I know, took me long enough! I always feel like I'm horrible at decorating - I just don't have the vision that comes so easily to others. However, I recently invested in some furniture and after that everything kind of came together : )

In fact all of the decorations are things I already had in my place! I also thought it would be a good time to list off where things were from for those interested.

Individual Silk Flowers - Hydrangea + Peony [Target]
 White Honeycomb Vase [Target]
Empty Chanel Giftbox [Chanel]
White Cake Stand [Pier 1 Imports]
Small Silver Glass Christmas Bulbs [Rite Aid]
2 Silver Candles [Voluspa]
Silver Speckled Candle [Pier 1 Imports]

Long Mirrored Jewelry Box [Z Gallerie]
Large Mirrored Jewelry Box [Ross (but I think this was a Z Gallerie piece)]
Fresh Purple Roses [Costco]
Glass Vase (came with an arrangement I got as a gift)

Glass/Shattered Mirrored Tray [TJMAXX]
Silver Candle with Embellishment [Target]
(after that I just have my Blu Ray Player and X-Box 360)

(TV is a 42" Vizio 3D and I took this photo while watching Grimm haha.)

Let me know if you would like more info on my actual furniture pieces and I will do a separate post on that however these will only available to California residents.

[All photos taken with my iPhone 5S]

Needless to say my bedroom has now become my favorite room in the apartment! It feels so good finally having something set up.

If you haven't taken the plunge to invest in furniture yet I highly suggest you consider it! It's for sure something that I did not want to spend the money on but I am glad I did!

In total for two night stands, the long dresser and a tall chest I paid about $1,505.10 which includes tax and $99 delivery fee.

Again, if you are interested in a more detailed post on just the furniture let me know! I just wasn't sure if I should since it's a California only store.

Thank you all for reading and checking in.

Talk to you soon,
Holly

[Home Decor] Springing Things Up - New Floral Arrangement

Hexagon/Honeycomb Vase from Target
Hydrangeas in Pink, Cream as well as Peonies from Target
Circular Placemat from Target

(Bag is a Beige Caviar Jumbo with Silver Hardware by Chanel)

-------

Decided to get a little more festive with a new floral arrangement for my table after stopping by my local Target a couple weeks ago. (They do still have these items though.)

Scooped up this white vase (I always do white/cream) - I like the texture.
The flower were individual clusters and stems were pretty long but I just cut them down to size. I wasn't planning on doing such different colors but they had a very limited selection and ultimately I like the way it came out!

Not much to report on - you all know I am not particularly crafty but I have to say I really am enjoying the new addition : )

What do you guys use for your table center pieces? (Also I do not have a coffee table so...this is as close as I get. I feel like my place is too narrow for a coffee table plus it's right where I would need to film.)

Thanks so much for reading!

See you in a couple of days (if not tomorrow!)

Love,
Holly

Sweet Treats. Home Decor.

Finally set up my cute little cupcake displays after cleaning up my apartment so I thought I'd share.

I had been hanging on to them for a while and felt like now was finally the time.

Originally purchased to be decorations for my dresser - almost 2 years and I still haven't purchased a dresser sooooo on my counter they go. lol.

The taller of the two (well I actually purchase more than one of each so I will still be able to use them in my bedroom when the time comes) was purchased at VONS Grocery Store in the Floral Department. I don't remember exactly how much they were, I think $12.99 or so.

Inside I have a few stacked bracelets from Forever 21, BCBGeneration and Tory Burch along with this sweet little pastel macaron trinket box which I think is the perfect touch.

It adds such interest to the set up.

The shorter cupcake display was purchased at Ross for $5.99

I love playing with levels!

Inside this one I have again some Forever 21 bracelets, a Forever 21 Ring and to keep some continuity between the two stands another BCBGeneration bracelet and pastel macaron container.

-----------

I hope you all have enjoyed this post! Something different for me on here.
I'm not too big on sharing my home decor since my apartment is still a work in progress but I am happy to post about the parts that I am satisfied with.

Let this inspire you to surround yourself with the everyday things you enjoy - even if they are in unconventional ways.

Love,
Holly
